Renewdunder is a Melbourne based company specializing in Biomass Gasifiers. Australia is traditionally known for some of the best Coal in the world. A dubious fame in today’s parlance of Clean Energy and Carbon Neutral Stature. The recent strides in Australian Agricultural management has greatly increased the country’s potential for Biomass residue, a wealth that cannot be ignored. Three decades of research in Biomass Gasification by Ankurscientific ( India) represented by us is now poised to explore this valuable resource to replace at least in part the dependence in Fossil fuels.

Carbon Neutrality:

Burning Fossil Fuels brings into today’s atmosphere the carbon which was formed eons ago. Ideally the best energy would be one which has zero emissions such as Solar and Wind. This is not applicable in all avenues of Industry. The best bet therefore is to look at replacing as much as possible of Fossil fuel use and utilization of other available fuels which will not add to the net carbon equation. Gasification of Biomass waste brings in the Carbon which has been absorbed by that Biomass within its lifecycle which could be as low as a season (crop residue) to a few years old (Plantation residue).

Our Achievements

		We bagged the National Award for Technology Development in 1990.
		We were recognized as the best small scale industry in Gujarat in 1993
		Ankur has also won numerous awards for its research efforts.
		We were awarded research (R&D) projects by Government of India inspite of our being a private company.

The exceptional track record in technology development even resulted in GOI (Government of India) awarding the company a research project more than a decade ago when public policy did not permit such funding to private companies. Because of the state-of-art work, with tremendous relevance to environment, sustained development and a global climate, the company attracts large number of visitors from all over the world.

The driving force behind the company has been the renowned scientist and technocrat promoter, Dr. B. C. Jain. A gold medalist from BITS, Pilani, Dr. Jain subsequently did his M.S., MBA and PhD from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, USA. His strong personal convictions, coupled with the illustrious educational background, have indeed been the driving force behind Ankur Scientific. He has been ably supported by Mr. Chauhan, a 65-years old dynamo, whose knowledge of all things technical is unmatched, and all Ankur's employees.
